Toyota cares - Recalls select vehicles

When it comes to safety, Toyota simply will not make any compromise. Toyota has announced it will recall approximately 2.3 million vehicles to correct sticking accelerator pedals on specific Toyota Division models.

• 2009-2010 RAV4
• 2009-2010 Corolla
• 2009-2010 Matrix
• 2005-2010 Avalon
• Certain 2007-2010 Camry
• 2010 Highlander
• 2007-2010 Tundra
• 2008-2010 Sequoia

However, the Toyota Prius, Tacoma, Sienna, Venza, Solara, Yaris, 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, Land Cruiser and select Camry models, including all Camry hybrids, which will remain for sale.

Presenting the brand new 2010 Toyota Rav4 with upgraded features

Toyota of Colchester, a leading Toyota dealer in Colchester, Connecticut, reviews the 2010 Rav4 for you. The Toyota RAV4 compact CUV is one of the first entrants into the crossover utility vehicle segment and provides impressive power for towing requirements.

The 2010 Toyota RAV4 is available in Base, Sport and the premium Limited trim levels and in front or all-wheel-drive configurations. Two engine choices are offered, including a 179-horsepower, 2.5-liter inline-4 and 269-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6; each mated to either a four- or five-speed automatic transmission. The 2010 Toyota RAV4 can tow up to 3,500 pounds and EPA estimated fuel economy ratings are at an impressive 22 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.

New additions for 2010 include a Sport Appearance Package comprising tires, heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals and chrome shift knob, parking brake and interior door handles. The vehicle also provides hands-free Bluetooth capability and steering wheel-mounted audio controls. A backup monitor system with rearview camera is now offered on base models. The RAV4's grille was revised in 2009 and standard exterior features include LED taillights, power mirrors, integrated fog lights and a moonroof.

The 2010 Toyota RAV4 seats five or seven passengers. The fuel-efficient 2010 Toyota RAV4 has several features to maximize comfort and luxury like the CFC-free automatic air conditioning; fabric-trimmed six-way adjustable driver's seat and fold-flat second-row seats; an AM/FM six-disc in-dash CD changer; power windows; multi-function center console and dual sun visors with vanity mirror and it goes without saying that the vehicle has excellent safety features as well.
